The Raging Beast Within

This Hollywood favorite is popular, rich, successful, and considered an all around nice guy, in general. But, he also has a very dark side, a dark side which is carefully kept hidden form public eye, to not dent his impeccable reputation. In public he always seems cheerful and in full control, but in private his hot temper, which can be triggered by the slightest upset, has led on more than few occasions to attacks of blind fury and rage which is let lose on the object or person unfortunate enough to be in his reach. There are stories of smashed furniture and even trashed cars and these are just objects. And while it’s been said his wife seems to be just about the only one, able to cool him down and has been the one preventing things getting out of hand even more, it’s whispered she, too, incidentally has been on the receiving end of his fury. This dark side is meticulously kept hidden from the public and it’s rumored the LAPD has covered matters up more than a few times. But, insiders state it’s only a matter of time before he shows this dark side in public and that when this happen not even his wife will be able to save him. Most alarming of all; he himself remembers little to nothing of his rage after calming down.

Methinks: Tom Hanks or Tom Cruise (but is he still popular?)

NY Daily News: Which older half of a hot new Hollywood couple comes with the reputation of having hit his celebrity former girlfriend?

Methinks: Heroes and ex Gilmore Guy Milo Ventimiglia , whose ex girlfriend was Gilmore Girl Alexis Bledel, and new girlfriend is Heroes Hayden P. According to Gawker, Milo was seen shoving Alexis to the ground on two separate occasions last year. However the Gawker sighting was maybe fake - he apparently wasn't in New York at that time. But note the blind just says 'reputation'.

Or, Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood?

BTW, apparently Milo was seen cutting Hayden's meat up at the Governor's Ball. Uh, okaaay. Does anyone else find this weird?

It's a Dog Eat Dog World

LAINEY GOSSIP: One after another – celebrity dog scandals. This one is extremely upsetting. Miss Bottom had two. Both of the same fierce breed. They say of this breed that they should never be left alone together. That inevitably only one will remain. And this is what happened recently. One ate the other. The other is gone. Killed. Seeing as she has such a wonderful publicist however, this tragedy likely won’t see the light of day. But every dog owner will tell you – they are like our children. We are responsible for our children. We are responsible for making sure they are safe. Clearly her dogs were not safe. Clearly she was too busy publicising a romance rather than prioritising her pet. Douche.

The Racist Abuser

PANACHE REPORT: This man is affiliated with hip-hop and appears happy go lucky and the life of the party. When he first started out, he was pro-black, funny how times change. Now, he's gone Hollywood and that lovable act is just that, an act, and he has no qualms about beating a woman in the streets, in full view of everyone but due to his manufactured image, you would never guess that he's a batterer behind closed doors. As for his pro-black stance, that's a joke too. He has baby mama drama and he's never done anything for his black kids yet a woman recently gave birth to his first biracial child and all the sudden, he's "father of the year." He was telling his boys, he was thinking about opening up a trust fund for this new baby and he's going to be in this baby's life, unlike he was with his black kids. And, a few of his longtime friends are now former friends. They are disgusted with his behavior and don't want to have anything to do with him despite his celebrity, they consider him a "bad joke." *A hint or two will be given out (by staff) in "the comment" section Wednesday afternoon.

Jawn Murray, AOL Black Voices: Former members of this entertainer's entourage are starting the spill the beans and the stories about said superstar's private life are tabloid-worthy at best. From anything-goes sex romps to bouts with domestic violence, the lurid details being buzzed about make the 'E! True Hollywood Story' seem like 'Sesame Street.' IS IT: Jamie Foxx; Usher; Kayne West; Diddy or Busta Rhymes?

The Abusive Rapper

PANACHE REPORT
People often wonder why they don't see photos of a very popular rapper's wife. She is buried deep in the background and is hardly ever pictured with her husband. The reason: He beats her and she's usually covered in black and blue bruises, that's why she's never seen. The rapper's wife also has self-esteem issues because she is aware of his constant infidelity but she chooses to ignore his numerous liaisons. The abuse seems to be escalating, there were always rumors of domestic strife but now the allegations have become more frequent. Allegedly, he beats her over anything but she won't leave him. He was being interviewed on a radio station last year and when questions arose about his wife, he changed the subject and appeared uncomfortable. Hint: He's a very well known rapper, domestically and internationally.

Possibilities: DMX's wife, Tashera Simmons. DMX has a major violent criminal record, and Tashera frankly admitts that she believes her husband has cheated on her. Plus they were charged with child endangerment and weapons offenses in 1999 when police searched their property relating to another charge. There are few photos of them together. 

Other possibilityies Snoop Dogg.  Ok, no-one seems to think it could be Snoop, and I agree there have been quite a few pics with him and his wife.

Ja Rule I did consider, an interviewer even asked him if he hit his wife once because he had been hit as a child. He said no, obviously, but it was an odd question to ask I thought.... he goes back in the game!

Any other ideas?

Cybill Shepherd Blind Item

Actress Cybill Shepherd has revealed she was once sexually assaulted by a famous actor when she attempted to cool their relationship. The former Moonlighting star plays the mother of a rape victim in new TV movie Open Window and admits she used her own experiences to prepare for the harrowing role. Speaking for the first time about her own ordeal on U.S. TV show Entertainment Tonight, Shepherd reveals her ex turned nasty when she told him she wanted to date other people. She recalls, "He jerked the necklace off of me and he threw me around the kitchen. He said to me, 'Don't even think of getting the keys to your car, because I have them, and you're not getting them to be able to get away.'" The unnamed actor demanded sex and Shepherd was terrified as he pinned her down. Eventually she wriggled free and ran to get help. She adds, "That changes your life forever. It takes awhile to trust men again. It takes awhile to trust yourself again. You wonder, 'How could I end up with someone who seems perfectly OK... to suddenly be demanding sex." Shepherd admits she never had the courage to report the incident, and years later received an offer to work with her attacker. She explains, "I said, 'I don't think so.'"

The 'Razzi Who Witnessed an A-List Star Beating His Girlfriend

"So last week I think I promised to fill you all in on a story that a pap related to me because he wanted to know if he was legally obligated to do anything about what he had witnessed and his obligations should it occur again in the future..

Most of you readers are used to seeing the photos of celebs up close and personal that are taken from just a few feet away..However, you may have also seen photos, especially on the beaches that are taken from a much greater distance, and then there was a recent case involving Jennifer Aniston where topless photos of her on her deck were taken from over a quarter mile away..

There are some pap who follow their quarry all the time, but for much of the time they just stay close to certain places they know celebs tend to hang out, or they know will be coming to at some point in the day or night. However, the big money are for pics that are harder to come by and that is where you get the guys following you everywhere ot finding a place that overlooks your house and then waiting for hours and hours and sometimes even for days depending on how valuable the pic would be if taken.

The pap who came to my office is a follower..he goes for the big bucks and does not settle for anything less..He has become very good at tracking his quarry from a distance (some would say it has something to do with the device on their fav car he put there, but I digress..lol) He also has found a place also about a quarter mile away from a particular house which provides him an excellent view of about 30% of the house including some rooms of the house, and into them as well..

He came to me because on 3 or 4 occasions (definitely 3, and unsure of the 4th) he witnessed the current A list actor beating his girlfriend and has the pics to prove it. (they are grainy, but very clear what is going on) The first time it happened he was not prepared to take pics because he knew the object of his pics was not at the house and so he managed to only get a couple of pics which are useful only if looking at the others to put the first in context. After the fight, he waited for what he was sure would be an appearance by the police, but none ever came. This same scenario played out the other times as well.

He came to me because he wondered if he was under some obligation to report the beatings to the police. He did not want to alert the police because he did not want the subject to learn about the pap watching his house and thus tip-off what the real goal with the pics is/was. Also, the fights happened over a several week period and always in the same room of the house and so he was wondering if they could have learned of his presence and were staging the fights because they always did happen in the same room..To back this theory up he stated and as I viewed the pics, admitted it is hard to see if there are any bruises or marks on the woman. Most of the blows appeared to be of the open hand variety and therefore would maybe not leave a mark and also would not leave any evidence if the pap decided to call the cops on his own and they investigated. He has thought about calling the police as soon as he sees something but doubts they would be able to respond in time..The girlfriend rarely leaves the house which makes it tough to follow her and see if there are marks or to confront her..She is not really in the public eye and so sometimes that can be problematic as well..He hired an assistant to follow the girl if she does leave, but she does not seem to leave until at least two days after a fight which would bolster the theory that she has been hit.

He wants her to leave because he knows that when she is gone, then his payoff pics will happen..I will keep you updated on this story..of course it could break out into the open at anytime as well..too many people are being brought into the loop..of course the pap could be bought off also...remind me to tell you about some big payoffs in the past to keep things quiet.."

UPDATE! Dec 12 2006: The pap who was watching the house is STILL watching. As far as I know he has been there for over a month. He is waiting for one picture which will be worth about two years of taking regular pictures.

Methinks: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. The pap could have been waiting for a Suri pic or a pic of Tom and a guy and gets this picture of Tom, who's been openly crazy and slightly agressive (remember how hard he shook Oprah?) hitting Katie. Katie rarely leaves the house and never without a Scientology handler.

UPDATE! March 7th 2007
"Do you remember about the pap who was staking out a house looking for one special photo? Well there have been some developments. First, the boyfriend and girlfriend have married. I ran into the pap's assistant the other day and he said that about 5 or 6 weeks ago, the now wife left for a few days and the pap got the shot he wanted. It took him months of waiting but he got the money shot. He tried to sell it to a US magazine and they did not want to touch it. He then went to a UK magazine and they offered him a tremendous amount of money, but not the kind of money that makes up for months of waiting. So, using the UK offer as leverage he decided to offer the photo for sale to the husband. They have discussed a price but nothing finalized yet. If the sale does not go final, then UK it is."

Methinks: Tom Cruise with another man while Katie Holmes was in Paris. Also the reason they might be moving
